1. Registration and Network Use

1.1. Ordering from the online store of La Matta Ky (“La Matta”) does not require you to register. La Matta will then collect the necessary personal information to fulfill your order.
1.2. In connection with the order, you can register as a La Matta customer, in which case you accept the inclusion of your personal data in the La Matta customer register. This will simplify your ordering in the future and allow you to track your order backlog.
1.3. You can also choose to become a La Matta VIP customer by notifying us by e-mail and information about offers. In this case, you agree that La Matta will collect your contact information in its VIP customer register.
1.4. By using La Matta’s online service, shop or registering for La Matta’s customer register, you agree to:
1.4.1. use the online service and commerce in accordance with these general terms and conditions;
1.4.2. to accept La Matta’s general terms and conditions and data protection principles;
1.4.3. exercise special care and attention when using our online store;
1.4.4. provide truthful information about yourself and, if necessary, change this information;

2.Binding nature of the order

2.1. You can easily order products from our online store at any time of the day. The purchase of the products is done by adding the desired products to the shopping cart. Then follow the instructions provided by the online store to complete the order. On the order confirmation page, you will see the total amount of your purchases, including taxes and shipping costs.
2.2. The binding sales agreement will take effect once La Matta has sent you an order confirmation by e-mail. Thereafter, La Matta reserves the right to change the terms of the transaction.
2.3. You have the right to cancel the order in whole or in part by e-mail, letter or telephone before submitting the order. Your order has been delivered after the order tracking ID has been emailed to you.
2.4. Communication between the parties takes place either by e-mail, letter or by calling our customer service. 3. Prices

3.1. La Matta’s online store prices are in euros (EUR) and include VAT (24%). Promotional prices are clearly marked separately for each product.
3.2. Delivery costs per order start at 5.90 € in Finland and 5.90 € in other EU countries.
3.3. For orders outside the EU, please contact our customer service by e-mail [email protected] or by phone on weekdays from 11 am to 4 pm to our number +358 9 626005. Please note that if you order outside the EU, you will be responsible for any customs or other official fees in addition to our postage. .
3.4. Customers from other EU countries or countries outside the EU are advised to visit our website at https://kiel-streets.de or to contact the customer service of La Matta at [email protected]. Please note that customers making purchases outside the EU have the obligation to pay any custom or other government fees related to their order.
3.5. We reserve the right to cancel your order due to obvious price errors. If the price of the product is not marked at all, the price is 0.00 euros or the price differs significantly from the correct price of the product, eg the price of 150.00 euros is 15.00 euros, we assume that you understand that this is an incorrect price.

4.Terms of delivery – Shipping

4.1. If the product you ordered is in our warehouse, our estimated delivery time by post is about 2-5 working days.
4.2. If you absolutely want the product by a certain date, you must mention it separately when placing your order. We will try to take your wishes into account if possible.
4.7. LA MATTA supplies products to Finland, Sweden and other EU countries, as well as to other countries by separate agreement.
4.8. LA MATTA also delivers products to Åland, in which case we remove the VAT related to the order from the invoice in advance.
4.9. LA MATTA shall not be liable for damages or delays resulting from force majeure beyond its control, the consequences of which it could not reasonably have foreseen or could not have avoided. Such an obstacle is considered to be e.g. import and export bans, industrial action, illness of staff, government decisions, problems with sewing equipment or personnel, delayed deliveries of fabrics or products from our suppliers, disruptions in transportation, war, natural disasters, or the like. If the force majeure continues for more than three months, both you and LA MATTA have the right to terminate the distance selling agreement without compensation or other penalties.

5. Terms of payment

Verifone

is a secure payment method for you. We have a payment institution license issued by the Financial Supervisory Authority. The service is maintained by Verifone Finland Oy (business ID 0943819-9).

The Verifone payment service will forward your payment to the merchant. If your bank statement or credit card invoice shows Verifone Finland Oy, we have forwarded your payment.

The online store acts as a marketer of products and services and as a supplier of products to the customer. The online store takes care of the statutory and other obligations related to the transaction. If you want to reclaim or return the product, you should contact the online store where the product was ordered directly.

You can pay with Finland’s most common credit cards (including debits), banks and mobile payments. Invoice and Installment coming soon.

Klarna – We’ve partnered with Klarna to give you a better shopping experience.

 In order to be able to offer you Klarna’s payment options and to assess whether you qualify for their payment options and to tailor the payment options for you, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna and Billpay. Your personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and in accordance with the information in Klarna’s [defrit or en versions] and Billpay’s [defrit or en versions] privacy notices.

PayPal

Payment methods include PayPal, PayPal Later and Credit cards.

PayPal is a safer, easier way to send and receive money online. When you select PayPal as the payment method, you will be linked to the PayPal site where you can make payment.

Product replacement and return

6.1. It is important to us that you are satisfied with your order. If the product does not meet your expectations, you can exchange or return it within 14 days of receiving the product. Replacement and return instructions for our products are part of these general terms and conditions and can be found on our customer return pages. Follow these instructions and the instructions that came with the product carefully if you want to replace or return the product. We will refund the original purchase price (s) of the product (s) you return. Failure to pick up an order from the Post Office or the store is not the same as a customer return. If you wish to cancel your order after it has already been shipped to you, please pick up the shipment normally and return it to us following these instructions. In the case of in-store deliveries, notify the cancellation either to the store in question or to our customer service. We will subsequently charge the customer for the additional packaging, shipping and return costs incurred by us for orders delivered by post, a total of 10 euros, when the shipment has not been picked up due to the customer and has been returned to our online store.
6.2. If the product is damaged during transport, carefully follow our customer return instructions.
6.3. If the customer uses another customer’s customer number, account or invoice for misuse, or otherwise intentionally acts to the detriment of La Matta Ky, La Matta Ky may in the future refrain from accepting the person’s orders (purchase ban). A purchase ban can be imposed, for example, if the customer repeatedly returns or fails to redeem the items he has ordered, misuses subscriber benefits, intentionally creates several customer numbers or behaves regularly in customer service situations in a way that offends La Matta Ky’s staff or complicates their work.
6.4. If you have chosen to pick up your order from the store and want to return the products from the order, the products must be returned to the store.

6.5. If you have chosen Posti as the delivery method for your order, and you want to return the products from the order, the products must be returned to the Post office. Return address is required

6.6. You can also return products ordered by mail to your nearest store.

Complaint

7.1. It is the customer’s responsibility to carefully check the contents of the incoming order, the condition of the products and the number of pieces received as soon as the order is received.
7.2. If you have been delivered the wrong product, the wrong number of products or there is a defect in the product, please contact our customer service immediately by e-mail [email protected] or by calling our customer service number +358 9 626005 on weekdays from 11 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays from 11 am to 3 pm.
7.3. We are liable for any defect in the product we sell in accordance with Chapter 5 of the Consumer Protection Act. The 14-day period mentioned in section 6.1 above does not limit your right to make a complaint due to a defect in the product.
7.4. There is a defect in our product, for example, if it is torn or otherwise damaged upon receipt. The natural wear and tear of the goods during use is not considered to be a defect of the goods, nor is it if the goods have been damaged or, for example, shrunk because they have not been used or washed in accordance with our instructions. Kneading or fluffing of knitwear is part of the natural wear and tear of our knitwear products. If a broken garment can be found to be too small for the customer, it is not a defect in the product but a breakage caused by improper use. In this case, we are not responsible for any breakage of the garment.
7.5. Return the defective product according to our customer return instructions. Once we receive the product you returned, we will either exchange it for a new product or refund the price of the product.

Changing the Terms

8.1. LA MATTA reserves the right to change its general terms and conditions as well as other terms and conditions applicable to online shopping, such as its customer return and data protection terms and conditions and prices. It is the customer’s responsibility to familiarize themselves with the terms and conditions in force at the time of placing the order.

Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1. Finnish law applies to the LA MATTA online store and your distance selling agreement. We primarily seek to resolve any disagreements through negotiation. If we are unable to resolve the dispute related to the sales agreement by negotiation, you have the right to refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi).
